Job summary

Cox Automotive's Manheim Mobile team is seeking Mobile Inspectors in the Detroit area to perform on-site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients. You will document condition to Manheim standards and act as a brand ambassador, helping grow participation in mobile inspection services.

The role requires working with minimal supervision, strong judgment, and problem-solving. Entry-level level 1 is possible, with growth to higher levels as experience increases.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role learning Manheim inspection standards, tools, and client engagement practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and document condition per Manheim standards.
• Inspect and document exterior and interior vehicle condition including tires, frame, glass, panels, and mechanical components.
• Perform basic mechanical checks across powertrain, drivetrain, and electrical components.
• Build trust with dealer clients and educate them on Manheim Marketplace and mobile inspection services.
• Prepare and submit daily activity and production reports; use Salesforce.com for reporting and lead management.
