Job summary

ArborMetrics Solutions, LLC is seeking a Work Planner to perform outdoor field tasks, conduct safety audits, and collect data across vegetation management projects. You will collaborate with crews, communicate with customers, and travel as needed to manage ROW and easements while upholding safety standards.

The role emphasizes independent work in varying environments and requires physical stamina and reliable driving to project sites.

Qualifications

• 30+ semester credits or 45 quarter credits toward a degree.
• 2-3 years of UVM experience without degree.
• Species and hazard tree identification skills, invasive species, and tree growth knowledge.
• Computer and communication skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Conducts safety audits.
• Inspects rights-of-way (ROW) and easements for trim, removal, and chemical treatment requirements.
• Marks vegetation as required.
• Collects and reports data required by Line Clearing contractors.
• Notifies and communicates with customers as required.
• Travel requirements may vary; prepare for occasional day and overnight travel.
• Drive a company vehicle safely to work locations.
