Job summary

Clear Path Utility Solutions, LLC. seeks a Utility Forester to inspect and manage vegetation within utility ROWs, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and project quality.

You will use GIS and field data collection tools to support maintenance, planning, and contractor oversight. The role requires extensive fieldwork in varied weather and terrain, strong forestry knowledge, and the ability to work independently with clients, landowners, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Associate/Bachelor degree in forestry or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in utility vegetation management or related fields.
• Experience with tree risk assessments, vegetation inspections or ROW management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vegetation inspections, tree inventories and hazard assessments along utility ROWs.
• Identify and prescribe pruning, removal or protection according to specs and IVM principles.
• Evaluate tree health and growth to guide management recommendations.
• Gather and maintain field data including species, measurements, clearances, and prescriptions.

Education

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Arboriculture, Natural Resources, Environmental Science, Horticulture, or related field

2+ years utility vegetation management experience

Experience with forestry practices, tree risk assessments, ROW management
