Job summary

Clear Path Utility Solutions LLC is seeking a Utility Forester to inspect, evaluate, and manage vegetation within utility ROWs, ensuring reliability, regulatory compliance, and public safety. The role involves fieldwork, GPS data collection, and coordinating with contractors.

You will identify pruning needs, document vegetation conditions, and support project planning in collaboration with landowners and clients.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Arboriculture, Natural Resources, Environmental Science, Horticulture, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in utility vegetation management, utility line clearance, forestry, arboriculture, or related vegetation management operations.
• Experience conducting traditional forestry practices, tree risk assessments, vegetation inspections, or ROW management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vegetation inspections, tree inventories, and hazard tree assessments along utility corridors.
• Evaluate tree health and growth to develop vegetation management recommendations.
• Coordinate with contractors and oversee vegetation management work.
• Gather, document, and maintain field data including species, measurements, and clearances.
• Prepare patrol routes, maps, and work packages for daily field activities.
