Job summary

H 2 O Innovation is seeking a Valve Exercise Technician to join our Gulfport, MS team. You will locate and exercise valves within the water system, capture GPS coordinates, and ensure proper flow orientation. This role requires outdoor activity and physical effort.

The successful candidate will hold a Mississippi driver's license, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read maps and engineering prints. Background checks and screenings apply.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Mississippi driver's license.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of safety hazards and precautions.
• Ability to walk outdoors daily and lift 40+ lbs.
• Ability to read maps and engineering prints.
• Ability to work accurately and follow procedures.
• Background check and drug/alcohol screenings required.

Responsibilities

• Locating and exercising water valves with the system.
• Uploading GPS coordinates to the GIS system.
• Determine proper flow orientation of the water system.
• Maintain and safeguard equipment to keep it operational.
