Job summary

Novaspect, Inc. is seeking a Repair Technician focused on pressure relief valves and field service to join our customer-oriented team in the Des Moines area.

You will perform valve repairs, assist with machining and testing, and travel regionally up to 50-60% annually to customer sites, with occasional longer trips during outages. The role requires safety focus, good communication, and ability to work on-site.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude and able to read and interpret technical documents.
• Must be able to follow directions, take initiative, and complete tasks.
• Strong verbal communication and teamwork oriented.
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office and internal business systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines and OSHA standards.
• Repair safety relief valves and assist with machining to OEM specs.
• Assist in repair and testing of valves and actuators.
• Rigging and hoisting components per OSHA standards.
• Process travel to customer sites; 50-60% travel annually; some overnight travel.
