Job summary

DPC Services is seeking a Technician in the Utility Division to support installation, maintenance, and repair of water, sewer, and related infrastructure. You will work independently or with a team, delivering high-quality service while following company standards and regulatory guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, technical training preferred, valid driver's license, and OSHA/utility regulation knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or trade school preferred.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in utility work.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and instructions.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and utility regulations.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and physical assessments.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of utility lines and equipment.
• Operate tools and vehicles safely according to procedures.
• Conduct site inspections to identify hazards and verify specs.
• Assist with locating utilities prior to excavation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and manuals.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
• Complete job reports and documentation.
• Communicate project status to team and supervisors.
• Mentor junior technicians as directed.
• Participate in emergency response work, including after-hours shifts.
