Job summary

USIC is seeking individuals for field locator roles to identify and mark underground utilities across designated areas. You will use company vehicles and equipment, perform thorough site checks, and document findings for safety-critical operations.

Candidate should enjoy outdoor work, be comfortable with technology, and be able to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed. Training is provided and career advancement opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology and field data collection.
• Able to pass a drug screen per safety requirements.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Able to read locate tickets, maps and prints.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and accurately in designated areas.
• Document locations, photograph each locate, and complete required paperwork.
• Work daytime, full-time with potential overtime, on-call shifts, and weekend work as needed.
