Job summary

Stake Center Locating is hiring entry-level and experienced Locate Technicians to locate underground utilities and mark the ground. We will train you on the job with 100% paid training, enabling you to work outdoors in all weather and solve problems quickly and safely.

Starting pay is $21.00 per hour or more based on experience. You will use a tablet, read maps, and locate utilities with specialized equipment, while being able to work independently and communicate clearly with homeowners and

Qualifications

• Eighteen years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to walk up to 5 miles a day 2-3 times a week.
• Ability to carry up to 5 lbs of electronic locating equipment; lift up to 25 lbs; occasional heavy lifting with aids.
• Pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Read maps, interpret blueprints, and determine locating method and sequence.
• Use locate equipment to accurately locate underground utilities.
