Job summary

USIC, America’s leading provider in underground utility damage prevention, seeks dedicated field locators in Texas for daytime, full-time work. You will locate and mark utilities, document findings, and operate with a company vehicle across assigned areas.

No prior locating experience is required, as a robust training program is provided; overtime and on-call shifts may be necessary to meet project needs. Competitive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Able to read locating tickets, maps and prints.
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and accurately.
• Mark locations and document findings with photographs.
• Work daytime, full-time with overtime and on-call shifts as needed.
