USIC is seeking outdoor-focused locators to locate and mark underground utilities across designated work sites. You’ll work in the field with company vehicles and receive thorough training to support accuracy and safety on every locate.

The role emphasizes independent field work, overtime availability, and a strong safety culture, with a clear path for growth through a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing skill development.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Able to read locate tickets, maps and prints.
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities, including telecommunications, electric power, cable TV, gas, water, and sewer systems.
• Thoroughly search for underground utilities in a designated area, accurately marking the location, completing the necessary documentation, and photographing each locate.
