Job summary

USIC is seeking a Locator to perform underground utility locate work in outdoor field environments. You will locate and mark utilities, document findings, and photograph each locate as part of a fast-paced team. The role offers daytime, full-time hours with potential overtime and on-call shifts.

Training is provided, and dedicated vehicle, fuel card, and tech tools support field operations. Strong safety focus and reliability are essential for success in this growing nationwide program.

Responsibilities

• Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities, including telecommunications, electric power, cable TV, gas, water, and sewer systems.
• Thoroughly search for underground utilities in a designated area, accurately marking the location, completing the necessary documentation, and photographing each locate.
