Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is hiring outdoor locators to locate underground utilities and document each task with precision. You will work in the field using a company vehicle and handle paperwork and photos for each locate.

We offer a robust training program, an opportunity for advancement, and a safety-focused environment. You may have overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts depending on needs and holidays.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screen required for safety.
• Ability to read locate tickets and maps accurately.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities accurately and safely in designated areas.
• Mark the location and document each locate, including photos when required.
• Perform daytime, full-time field work with independent activity.
• Meet 48-hour turnaround expectations after locating, including some weekends.
