ELM Utility Services, with a team of over 1700 employees nationwide, is offering a great opportunity for a Utility Locate Technician in the Renton, Washington area. Technicians ensure that gas, electric, and communication systems are dependable and well-maintained by performing high-quality utility marking.

We use LaunchPoint software to create efficiencies. Starting wages for this position will be $25.50-$32.00 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug, Motor Vehicle Record, and background check. Safety-Sensitive DOT position compliant with all DOT regulations.
• High School Diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Passport or enhanced license for cross-border travel for work assignments.

Responsibilities

• Work independently outdoors with a company-provided vehicle as a mobile office, completing a route of locate requests daily.
• Accurately and safely locate and mark underground utilities using marking paint, flags, and whiskers.
• Use the mobile work system to receive daily tasks.
