Job summary

ACRT, Inc. is seeking energetic foresters to perform identification, inspection and evaluation of trees and brush along utility lines, with duties contracting for Xcel Energy as a new construction vegetation planner.

You will plan, direct and coordinate activities of tree clearance crews, discuss access issues, and serve as a liaison between clients, crews and customers. A 2-year degree or equivalent experience and ISA credentials preferred; medical, retirement and ESOP benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree in forestry, horticulture, environmental science or closely related field.
• In lieu of degree, 2 years of experience in Utility Vegetation Management or related field.
• ISA Arborist certification required.
• Experience with GIS data collection software preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, inspect, and evaluate trees and brush along utility lines.
• Submit inspection results to clients with recommendations.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of assigned tree clearance crews.
• Discuss and negotiate line-clearance crew access issues.
• Liaise between clients, tree crews, and client customers.
• Contracting for Xcel Energy as a new construction vegetation planner.
