Job summary

Atlas Field Services is seeking Consulting Utility Foresters Arborists - full-time in the Miami-Dade/Broward County area. The role involves outdoor field work assessing vegetation and coordinating with utility clients.

You will inspect rights-of-way, mark work in the field, interact with landowners, and support in bidding, safety, and contractor supervision. The position requires GIS/forestry knowledge and hands-on vegetation management experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in vegetation management and utility space.
• Degree in Forestry or GIS or equivalent field experience.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rights-of-way to assess vegetation and maintenance needs.
• Utilize client systems and applications for field tasks.
• Assist with bid package maps and work manifests.
• Research easement and land rights for widths and restrictions.
• Meet landowners to explain vegetation work.
• Mark work in the field where required.
• Respond to public questions about the project.
• Support development of public relations materials.
• Clarify work specs to contractors as needed.
• Inspect contractor work for compliance with utility specs.
• Assist in contractor management during storm restoration.
• Provide support on special projects for the utility.
