Job summary

Atlas Field Services in Pensacola, FL is seeking Consulting Utility Foresters/ Utility Arborists to join as full-time employees. The role involves inspecting rights-of-way, using GIS tools, and coordinating with landowners and contractors in a safety-focused outdoor environment.

Ideal candidates have forestry/GIS qualifications and experience in vegetation management and utility space, with the ability to learn client systems and support storm restoration efforts.

Qualifications

• Degree or extensive line cleaning work experience in forestry or GIS.
• Arborist certification or related bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in vegetation management and utility space is expected.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rights-of-way to assess vegetation conditions and maintenance needs.
• Utilize client systems and GIS applications for field data.
• Assist with bid package maps and work manifests.
• Research easements, widths, rights and restrictions.
• Meet with landowners to explain vegetation work.
• Mark work in the field and respond to public questions.
• Assist in public relations materials and contractor inquiries.
• Inspect contractor work for compliance with specs.
• Support during storm restoration operations.
