Job summary

This full-time role involves planning, supervising field crews, coordinating utility locates, and ensuring safety and quality in accordance with plans and specifications.

The position requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience in underground/utility construction, strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to travel within the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years supervisory experience in underground/utility construction.
• Combination of technical training and/or experience.
• Working knowledge of the NESC.
• Able to do basic math and interpretation of schedules.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lay-out work and acquire project needs before starting.
• Coordinate underground placement and locate calls.
• Inspect work for compliance with plans and specs.
• Monitor progress relative to production schedule and budget.
• Manage crews to meet productivity requirements.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and adherence to procedures.
• Assist manager with subcontractor and production billing.
