Job summary

National OnDemand, Inc. seeks an Underground Construction Manager to lead Outside Plant Construction and Delivery nationwide. You will coordinate field teams to assure quality fiber installations and upgrades, while managing budgets and timelines.

The role requires extensive travel across the United States (75–80%), hands-on leadership, and collaboration with multiple divisions to deliver turnkey telecom solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years related work experience.
• Telecommunications industry construction experience required.
• Proven leadership and teamwork skills across staff levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects including scheduling, reporting, customer facing, and vendor management.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting.
• Manage project schedule to meet milestones and deadlines.
• Problem solve onsite issues and advise on priorities and budget.
• Ensure work follows client construction standards and procedures.
• Maintain complete project files and timely closeout docs.
• Conduct regular site visits (bid walk, pre-con walk, progress, closeouts).
• Guide subcontractors and ensure accurate billing and invoicing.
