Job summary

Anduril Industries in the United States is seeking a Maneuver Dominance Technical Operations specialist to bridge product engineering and deployed operations for autonomy-enabled UAVs. You will own dependencies and stand up forward-deployed operations in austere environments to ensure mission success.

The role requires hands-on field experience, flight operations knowledge, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on field operations, manufacturing, or test experience.
• Experience as a pilot/operator or crew chief in military/defense contexts.
• Understanding of flight operations, aircraft systems, and sensors.
• Ability to solve problems at hardware-software-operations interfaces.
• Experience with cross-functional engineering teams and customers; reconciling opinions.
• Experience performing data-driven root cause analysis using logs.
• Computers/terminal, server management, programming languages (Python, Rust, MATLAB); IP networking; Radios (MANET, SATCOM).
• Ability to train peers or customers on product operation.
• Must have deployment experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% and deploy for up to two months.

Responsibilities

• Bridge between product engineering and deployed operations for autonomy-enabled UAVs.
• Stand up forward-deployed operations in austere environments to ensure mission success.
• Support long-term sustainment of deployed products.
• Assist in vehicle autonomy development with tests and demonstrations near home.
