Job summary

Commonwealth Charter Academy seeks a Family Involvement Coordinator-Field Trip to coordinate educational and social events for families in Western PA. Based from the Family Service Center, you will execute field trips aligned to Pennsylvania standards, plan summer programs, and maintain strong family engagement.

You will manage registrations, travel to various counties, collaborate with teachers, and ensure high-quality experiences that support the curriculum and mission of the school.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, liberal arts or related field.
• 4 years of relevant work experience in event planning, coordination, or program management.
• Willingness to travel and valid PA driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute field trips (virtual and in-person) aligned to standards and curriculum.
• Plan and execute social opportunities for families and students.
• Manage high-volume registrations with strong customer service.
• Collaborate with schools, other departments, and mobile classrooms across the region.
• Develop relationships with venues and organizations for enriching field trips.
• Attend meetings and provide monthly reporting of expenses and activities.
