Job summary

Steve & Kate's Camps in Brookline, MA at 91 Columbia St. is seeking team members for our Field Trip program to supervise campers, chaperone trips, and help keep everyone safe and engaged. Expect active days, travel by bus between stops, and plenty of creativity.

Applicants should be at least 18, have 2 months of camp-related experience (1 year preferred), and hold First Aid & CPR certification before Day 1. This role offers a fun, collaborative environment with opportunities to lead and learn.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children, with 1 year preferred, in either a professional, personal or volunteer setting.
• First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp (some locations may require additional certifications)

Responsibilities

• Chaperoning field trips, making connections, and monitoring safety and wellness.
• You'll travel by bus to multiple stops, all while having fun with kids.
• Actively supervising campers.
• Ensure compliance with Camp Policies.
• Reporting & Recording details of notable concerns or incidents, and of injuries to campers, other staff members, or self.
• Keeping track and being aware of camper allergies and dietary restrictions
