Job summary

Steve & Kate's Camp in Fremont, CA is hiring for Field Trip staff to supervise and engage campers during field trips. The role involves chaperoning, traveling by bus between stops, and building connections while ensuring safety and wellness.

You should be at least 18, have 2 months of experience with camp-age children (1 year preferred), First Aid & CPR before Day 1, and a willingness to contribute to a playful, inclusive team that values creative leadership.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp–age children, with 1 year preferred.
• First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp (some locations may require additional certifications).

Responsibilities

• Staff members will be responsible for chaperoning field trips, making connections, and monitoring safety and wellness.
• Travel by bus to multiple stops, all while having fun with kids.
• Actively supervising campers.
• Reporting & recording details of notable concerns or incidents, and of injuries to campers, other staff members, or self.
