Job summary

Ceres Environmental Operations (CEO) is seeking a dependable Trimmer to support vegetation management, storm cleanup, and debris removal across Escambia County, Florida. This hands-on role requires operating small chainsaws, collecting debris, and maintaining safe, efficient worksites.

You will report to the Superintendent, work in all weather, and contribute to community restoration while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Minimum one year of outdoor labor, landscaping, vegetation management, construction, or related field experience.
• Experience operating a small chainsaw and other basic landscaping or vegetation management tools.
• Ability to work safely in physically demanding outdoor environments.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate small chainsaws and hand tools to cut limbs, branches, and debris safely and efficiently.
• Rake, gather, and remove vegetation and debris from work areas.
• Load and unload branches, limbs, brush, and related materials onto trucks and trailers.
• Assist crews with storm recovery, vegetation management, and debris removal projects.
• Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of chainsaws, hand tools, and related equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and site-specific requirements.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas to promote safety and efficiency.
