Ceres Environmental Operations in Florida is seeking a dependable Trimmer to support vegetation management, storm cleanup, and debris removal across Escambia County. The role involves safely cutting, collecting, and clearing vegetative debris to support community restoration.

You will report to the Field Supervisor/Superintendent, operate small chainsaws and hand tools, and work outdoors in varying weather.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent work experience considered.
• Minimum one year of outdoor labor, landscaping, vegetation management, or related field experience.
• Experience operating a small chainsaw and basic landscaping tools.
• Ability to work safely in physically demanding outdoor environments.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Operate small chainsaws and hand tools to cut limbs and debris safely.
• Rake, gather, and remove vegetation and debris from work areas.
• Load and unload branches, limbs, brush onto trucks and trailers.
• Assist crews with storm recovery, vegetation management, and debris removal projects.
• Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of chainsaws and tools.
• Follow safety procedures, company policies, and site-specific requirements.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas for efficiency and safety.
• Communicate with supervisors and crew about work progress and site conditions.
• Identify and report safety hazards, equipment issues, or environmental concerns.
• Support additional field operations and cleanup activities as assigned.
