Job summary
Green Water & Power, LLC seeks an experienced Construction Laborer to support trenching and excavations for EV charging projects and large solar installations across multiple states. The role involves site restoration, erosion control, and acting as ground person for heavy equipment operators.
Ideal candidates have 4+ years in trenching/underground utilities, OSHA 10, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to safety. Travel up to 75–100% with company lodging and per diem provided.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on construction laborer experience, underground utilities, or trenching.
- OSHA 10 certification required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Responsibilities
- Serve as ground person for the excavation operator and assist with trenching and backfill tasks.
- Trench and excavate using standard equipment and ensure utilities are not compromised.
- Place bedding/backfill per spec and compact in lifts to designated density.
- Restore sites post-backfill including paving prep and seeding/hardscape restoration.
- Coordinate inspections with the construction lead and agencies/utilities.
- Travel up to 75–100% to field sites; lodging and per diem provided on assignment.
