Power Design, Inc. seeks a skilled Equipment Operator with 5+ years of experience operating excavators and other heavy machinery on commercial construction sites to support electrical and utility installations through safe excavation and site preparation.

You will trench, grade, and foundation work using excavators, skid steers, and backhoes; read blueprints and utility layouts; perform daily inspections and maintenance; collaborate with electricians and field leadership; and follow OSHA safety

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience operating excavators and heavy equipment on commercial construction sites.
• Strong trench safety knowledge and excavation best practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and utility layouts.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• High attention to detail and a strong safety mindset.

Responsabilités

• Operate heavy equipment to trench, grade, and foundation work.
• Excavate safely around utilities and structures per plans.
• Read construction docs, utility markings, and site layouts.
• Conduct daily inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Collaborate with field leadership, electricians, and other trades to complete tasks on schedule.
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
