The role focuses on verifying roadway, bridge, and related works against plans, specifications, and codes while maintaining professional client communications.

The candidate should have DOT-related inspection experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematics and field measurement skills.
• Experience inspecting transportation projects (VDOT or DOT).
• Ability to prepare and maintain project documentation and diaries.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspection to verify conformance with plans and specs.
• Maintain daily diaries, field notes, and sketches.
• Coordinate sample delivery and material testing as needed.
