Qualifications

• Experience in roadway and/or bridge construction inspection.
• Knowledge of ODOT construction standards, specifications, and methods.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, as‑builts, and related documents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with SiteManager and ProjectWise software.
• Ability to calculate construction material quantities.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain required AASHTO material testing certifications within three months of hire.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods and traverse uneven terrain.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and occasional nighttime shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily roadway and bridge inspections per contract documents.
• Maintain detailed daily reports of construction activities.
• Measure quantities of materials and completed work.
• Prepare as‑built drawings and project pay items.
• Obtain and verify material tickets and invoices.
• Calculate asphalt and concrete placement quantities accurately.
• Utilize Microsoft Office, SiteManager, and ProjectWise to manage documents and estimates.
• Interpret contracts, provisions, plans and specs.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with teams and clients.
• Adhere to safety protocols on field environments.
