JMT's Virginia Construction Management Team is seeking a Transportation Construction Inspector to apply standard

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-4 years of Construction Inspection Experience.
• Preferred: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Client certifications in soils, aggregates, asphalt, and related areas are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret plans, site layouts, specifications and construction methods for compliance with laws and safety regulations.
• Perform routine tests on concrete, soils and other materials.
• Measure dimensions and verify levels, alignments, and elevations of structures and pavements.
• Maintain and organize field records and documents.
• Take field notes and perform calculations as needed.
