Job summary

AeroVironment is hiring a Flight Demo Customer Specialist to operate and instruct on UAS, TMS and UGV in the field. You will ensure safe field operations and work with engineering and manufacturing to reflect current product features in training materials.

Role requires military/instructor background, travel up to 75%, and the ability to obtain required clearances. Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Prior military/instructor or aerospace manufacturing experience.
• Prior military/instructor/Special Operations experience highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel regularly within CONUS and to OCONUS.

Responsibilities

• Operates and instructs on UAS, TMS, and UGV in the field.
• Participates in MTTP per MTMM.
• Ensures field operations follow procedures and are safe.
• Conducts inventories of equipment and materials.
• Advises MCs, customer reps and authorities of changes.
• Maintains operational status of UAS/TMS/UGVs and systems.
• Maintains situational awareness of location and threats.
• Monitors on-site flight paths and risk levels.
• Completes documentation for field ops and data."
• Inputs critical information into after-action reports.
