Job summary

Acuity International seeks a seasoned Training Specialist to deliver US contractor and Local National integration training in austere environments, in classrooms and in the field, with potential leadership of protection teams. Based overseas on assigned WPS III task orders.

You must be a US citizen with substantial experience as an instructor, firearms instructor, and protective security professional; you will liaise with training entities and mentor LN personnel daily.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as an instructor in a security field.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience working as a full‑time equivalent firearms instructor; this experience must have been earned as part of other federal, state, or local government training assignments.
• Must have five (5) years’ experience in protective security assignments with leadership roles.
• Must have a valid U.S. Driver’s License and a valid U.S. Passport with at least 6 months remaining.

Responsibilities

• Train U.S. contractors and Local Nationals (LNs) in classroom and field environments.
• Mentor integrated LN protective security personnel and oversee day‑to‑day operations.
• Coordinate and conduct training and firearms re‑qualifications for LNs overseas.
• Support protection teams in leadership capacity as required.
• Ensure PRS assignments with LN personnel follow Post policy.
