Job summary

Acuity International is seeking a dedicated Protective Security Specialist to train U.S. contractors and conduct LN integration training. The role includes classroom and field instruction with potential leadership support for protection teams in austere environments.

You will coordinate with WPS III task orders, ensure policy-compliant PRS operations, and qualify on Glock-19, M4/MK18, M240, and M249. Travel overseas may be required with fitness and clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an instructor in a security field.
• Minimum 1 year as a full-time firearms instructor; this experience must have been earned as part of other federal, state, or local government training assignments.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in protective security assignments; includes Leader and WPS III experience.
• Must have a valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Must have a valid U.S. Passport with no less than 6 months remaining before expiration.
• Shall be proficient in the ability to speak, write, and communicate in English.
• Applicants must pass the pre-employment Physical Readiness Test (PRT).

Responsibilities

• Conduct integration training for Local Nationals (LNs) in overseas locations.
• Liaise with other training entities involved with WPS III and the integration of LNs.
• Direct and mentor integrated LN protective security personnel and operations on a day-to-day basis.
• Ensure that PRS assignments conducted with integrated LN protective security personnel are carried out in accordance with Post policy.
• Coordinate initial mission planning for PRS assignments, including coordination with the TOC and other RSO personnel to assign and schedule protective assignments.
• Coordinate and conduct training and firearms re-qualifications for LNs in overseas locations.
• Perform day-to-day personal protective security functions, as required.
