Field Digital Training Manager

The Field Digital Training Manager is responsible for the strategy, development, and execution of best‑in‑class, multi‑platform educational content aimed at preparing the Hill’s field teams (Territory Managers and Professional Consulting Veterinarians) and agency teams with in‑depth nutritional, product, and executional knowledge. Platforms will include synchronous and asynchronous training, in‑person, virtual, and digital formats, and gamification. Strategy is data‑driven and outcome focused.

Primary Responsibilities
  • 75% of the time, develop educational strategy, content, and digital assets. (Develop the training strategy and execution of assets, may need to modify some content coming from global).
  • Develop a library of “Beyond Product Value Presentations” and train field team on utilization.
  • Work closely with the Field Digital Training Manager to develop and execute the strategy for internal education, ongoing skill development, and validation of learning.
  • Deliver internal training materials (resources from global) that meet the needs of diverse learners, including documents, presentations, training videos, podcasts, and activities.
  • Focus training on reinforcement of foundational knowledge, product superiority, technical understanding of new product innovation, and flawless execution of commercial initiatives.
  • Validate learning through digital quizzing and provide actionable feedback to learners, coaches, and managers.
  • Manage the availability of and access to material for on‑demand learning, including integration into the Learning Management System.
  • Align internal educational strategies with overall US company goals. Prioritize activities to align timing of content/asset development and execution with the broader commercial/education grids, as part of Vet Channel and Pet Channel go‑to‑market teams.
  • Partner with internal subject‑matter experts for inclusion of accurate technical material and messaging.
  • Solicit feedback and input from key stakeholders to facilitate ongoing improvement.
  • Promote a culture of coaching and continuous learning.
  • Maintain materials for Nutritional Advocated for Veterinary Professional, ensuring CRGT review and RACE accreditation on materials.
  • 25% of the time will be spent managing training initiatives.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams in the development, planning, and execution of company‑wide training initiatives and events (National Commercial Experience, District Meetings, Field Communication Call and Field Vet Call).
  • Aide in appropriate messaging and updates to field for product changes, improvements, and assortment variance.
  • Manage and help oversee deployment of training as it relates to new technical tools for internal and customer use, including digital/web tools.
Minimum Requirements
  • DVM or VMD.
  • Current active license to practice within one state.
  • 6+ years in veterinary medical practice or industry.
  • 2+ years in customer‑facing executional roles.
  • Experience with training in adult learning.
  • Experience with educational writing, digital content development, and/or learning management system (LMS) tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in communication or related field.
  • Undergraduate degree in training or related field.
  • Sales, marketing, or digital marketing experience.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $109,600.00 – $155,000.00 USD. Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit‑sharing, and long‑term incentives for executive‑level roles.

Benefits: comprehensive medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and 401(k) retirement plan with company matching (subject to eligibility). Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays. Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location per local laws. Detailed information will be provided upon hiring.
