Job summary

Canine Companions seeks a Field Training Center Representative Lead to support client programs, puppy initiatives, training, marketing and philanthropy across remote field training centers. Travel within assigned regions is required, with strong dog handling and customer service skills.

You will lead program operations, coach staff, manage safety, and coordinate with the Program Director to ensure high-quality service and dog training outcomes for people with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Ability to train dogs to Canine Companions’ standards.
• Ability to follow feeding, exercising and animal husbandry guidelines.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to maintain detailed records and complete paperwork.
• Ability to use computers, word processing, spreadsheets, email and databases.
• Ability to take direction and cooperate with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Independently train dogs for service or facility placements.
• Coordinate client recertifications and work with the graduate department and veterinary partners.
• Support puppy program reports and coordination with puppy raisers and program staff.
• Lead field training center staff and ensure consistent communication and operations.
• Assist with philanthropy marketing, demos and outreach events to support mission goals.
