Job summary

Dan’s Pet Care is seeking an experienced Dog Trainer to join our field team. You will lead both individual and group training sessions, traveling to client homes and training locations to build strong client relationships.

Ideal candidates hold CPDT certification with at least two years of professional training experience, plus solid knowledge of canine behavior and behavior modification techniques. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• CPDT certification or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years professional dog training experience.
• Solid knowledge of canine behavior and behavior modification techniques.
• Must be able to work with dogs of all temperaments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group dog training classes.
• Work with dogs of all breeds and sizes on obedience and behavior modification.
• Educate pet parents on proper training techniques and dog behavior.
• Coach and educate our internal team on dog behavior and safe handling practices.
• Travel to client homes and designated training locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service with clear, positive communication.
• Maintain accurate training records and progress updates.
