We are seeking a dependable, safety‑focused Traffic Control & Safety Technician with a Class A CDL to support roadway safety, traffic control, and pavement marking operations. This position combines commercial driving responsibilities with hands‑on field work in active roadway and construction environments.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating Thermoplastic Trucks, Epoxy Trucks, and Paint Trucks, along with roadway striping and pavement marking applications. Responsibilities include transporting equipment and materials, operating and maintaining pavement marking equipment, assisting with traffic control operations, and supporting the installation, relocation, and removal of traffic control devices.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles and specialty pavement marking equipment.
  • Transport materials, equipment, and crew members to and from project sites.
  • Operate and assist with Thermoplastic, Epoxy, and Paint Truck applications.
  • Assist with pavement marking and roadway striping operations as needed.
  • Load, unload, inspect, and maintain vehicles and equipment.
  • Set up, install, move, and remove traffic control devices in accordance with project requirements.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain required DOT documentation.
  • Work safely in active construction zones while following all company and regulatory safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and crew members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Qualifications
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Current DOT Medical Card.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience operating a semi‑tractor trailer.
  • Manual Transmission and 5th Wheel Endorsement preferred.
  • Experience operating Thermoplastic Trucks, Epoxy Trucks, Paint Trucks, or other pavement marking equipment strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
  • Ability to travel and occasionally stay overnight for out‑of‑town projects.
  • Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
