Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA is seeking an Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our Cedar Creek, TX team. Training will be provided and certification opportunities are available. You will perform field and lab testing on soils, concrete, asphalt, and piles to ensure the project meets specifications.

Responsibilities include concrete and soil testing, pile monitoring, and timely reporting. Must have some construction experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass

Qualifications

• +1 year of experience in Construction or Construction Materials Testing.
• Must have dependable transportation; a truck is preferable.
• Must pass a DISA drug screen.
• Must pass a background check.
• TWIC card preferred.
• Physically able to lift heavy materials and equipment.
• On-call schedule and irregular hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory tests such as concrete slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, and cylinder casting.
• Conduct soil compaction tests using sand cone or nuclear density gauge.
• Perform Proctor, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis, and related soil tests.
• Do asphalt density testing and core sampling.
• Monitor piles during installation and document capacity and blow counts.
• Produce timely and detailed reports.
• Operate vehicle safely and follow safety procedures.
• Collaborate with the technical team and share information across the organization.
• Build positive relationships with clients and communicate with dispatch daily.
• Be on-site on time and assist onsite clients as needed.
