Exelon is seeking a Testing and Commissioning Engineer to join its North Region team in Libertyville, IL. The role focuses on commissioning, testing, and maintaining protection, SCADA, substation automation and related systems within ComEd substations.

It requires hands-on field work, troubleshooting, and extended hours during storms or emergencies. The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering or PE license, 4–7 years of relevant experience, and strong problem solving, teamwork and communication

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or PE license required.
• 4–7 years professional engineering experience.
• Ability to analyze complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of engineering designs, principles and practices.
• Experience with complex field test equipment.

Mansioni

• Lead and support substation maintenance and contractor crews.
• Interface with Central T&S Engineering, Work Management, Project Management, Operations, Data Maintenance, and Substation Maintenance to support daily work.
• Assist in substation outage/work planning and engineering drawing maintenance.
• Support NERC/CIP audit and maintenance programs and promote safety culture.
