Job summary

NexTier Completion Solutions, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Field Technician to operate and control pressurized systems, inspect equipment, and test functionality of field equipment to ensure reliable testing outcomes.

You will perform pre-trip/DOT inspections, assist maintenance, document results, and support safety and housekeeping while following established testing criteria. This role requires hands-on operation of field gear and collaboration with maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate & control pressurized systems and test functionality of all field equipment.
• Safely spot & rig up/down equipment into test stand per company standards.
• Identify equipment deficiencies during testing and communicate to maintenance personnel.
• Support maintenance staff in troubleshooting and correcting defects.
• Follow inspection and testing criteria as outlined in procedures.
• Document test results and work performed in designated systems.
• Perform pre-trip/DOT inspections for road readiness.
• Perform preventative maintenance on test stand facility and maintain housekeeping.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
