Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to perform LTE and 5G field protocol testing. The role focuses on developing and executing test strategies, validating UE functionality on 4G/5G air interfaces, and ensuring UE meets QA and carrier requirements.

The position is a 12-month contract in Plano, TX, with a schedule of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST and an anticipated travel of 25%.

Qualifications

• Asscociated degree or higher in a technical field.
• 0-3 years of experience in QA/testing preferred.
• Experience with LTE/5G testing and field deployments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work in mobile field environment (80% in field, 20% in office).
• Analyze customer requirements and translate to system specs.
• Develop test plans, execute tests, and validate UE functionality.
• Troubleshoot issues from labs, field sites and production network.
• Review KPI trends and provide optimization recommendations.
• Assist in meeting deadlines based on project lead requests.
• Travel approximately 25% as needed.
