Job summary

Martin Energy Group Services LLC seeks a technically skilled professional to perform new equipment setup, testing, commissioning and repair in the field. You will ensure product quality via diverse test procedures, load programs, and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and computer systems.

The role requires hands-on experience with tools, reading schematics, and safe operation of live electrical systems, with the ability to document data and follow service procedures for training and testing.

Qualifications

• Education specifies relevant electrical, mechanical, and/or programming background.
• Experience in the energy industry is preferred.
• Ability to use hand and power tools and diagnose equipment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for new equipment setup, testing, commissioning and repair.
• Ensure product quality through various test procedures, including point to point testing, hot testing, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Load computer programs to equipment, test program functionality, and make changes.
• Advanced work, troubleshooting and repairs on electrical, mechanical and computer systems.
• Load test gensets and other equipment.
• Escalates unresolved issues to supervisor / OEM.
• Assists with preventative maintenance activities on engines and related components in the field.
• Completes training in line with skill and business requirements.
• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislations.
• Completes other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
