Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a Termite Technician in California to protect customers’ properties from wood-destroying organisms. You’ll perform inspections, prevention, and treatment services and communicate with customers about termite activity and required modifications.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, at least 1 year of customer service, willingness to learn, and flexibility with hours including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience; termite control experience a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Be flexible with working hours, Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations (covered by us).
• Basic math skills — calculations from product labels.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer’s termite problems and understand termite behaviors to determine steps.
• Perform termite treatment services safely and per guidelines.
• Apply anti-termite treatments to structures per schedule and label instructions.
• Explain services and critical conditions to customers; discuss procedures and modifications.
• Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order.
• Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment.
• Complete production forms documenting services provided.
• Interact with customers and explain services.
