Lytx, Inc. is hiring Field Service Technicians to support trial installations across key U.S. markets. This hands‑on role requires showing up to every site, performing installs, and ensuring vehicles are activated and recording before leaving.

Responsibilities include stocking hardware, conducting pre‑site assessments, performing hardwired installations, and diagnosing connectivity. Expect extensive local travel and weekend/overtime as needed, with an incentive plan and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands‑on hardware installation experience, preferably in fleet telematics or related fields.
• Mechanically competent with device mounting, cable routing and power connections in commercial vehicles.
• Basic 12/24V electrical understanding and ability to measure voltage, current and continuity with a DMM.
• Comfortable working in fleet yards, trucking facilities and industrial sites, outdoors in varying weather.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on install quality and thorough documentation.
• Professional, customer‑facing presence and ability to represent Lytx credibly.
• Valid driver's license with willingness to travel locally/regionally, nationwide, and occasionally internationally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and stock your trial hardware kit; manage hardware rotation to keep inventory current.
• Source replacement parts locally to prevent day‑of delays for standard components.
• Conduct pre‑site vehicle assessments for complex trials before install day.
• Perform hardware installations on standard commercial vehicles — hardwired, diagnostic, and basic AUX Hub configurations.
• Perform basic field diagnostics: verify connectivity, confirm recording, and resolve activation issues using a DMM and diagnostic tools.
• Inspect and verify every vehicle before accepting it, ensuring recording is active.
• Communicate install progress and completion to the customer's fleet manager professionally.
• Answer basic product questions on‑site; perform other duties as assigned.
