Job summary

DDS Companies in New York State is seeking a Telecom Technician to support cable, fiber, and telecom installations across our low‑voltage projects. The role requires hands-on work, travel up to 75% of the time, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs while following safety standards.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
• Previous telecommunications, electrical wiring or construction experience.
• Must be able to lift 100 lbs and pass a post offer pre-employment physical assessment test.
• Possess a valid NYS Driver's License and have a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Installation of outlets, pulling cable, fire stopping and pre-termination including organizing, forming, dressing and labeling cable to industry standards.
• Terminate, assemble and install 8-pin modular connectors and coaxial and light crimp connectors.
• Perform various wireless installations and troubleshooting.
• View and print traces.
