Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services in North America is seeking a skilled Field Operations Technician to perform installation, repair, configuration and testing of MACD on telecom equipment, with emphasis on customer service and on-site reliability.

You will test circuits with OTDR, work with Nokia, Infinera and Ciena gear, and collaborate with field teams to install data circuits, copper and fiber cabling, demarc extensions and rack‑mounted networking equipment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, business installation and service for electronics, appliances, security, and/or cabling.
• Strong customer-focused approach with integrity and empathy.
• Clear and efficient verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, customer-focused service to every client.
• Resolve customer issues calmly and professionally.
• On-site installation and repair of internet services, copper and fiber cabling, demarc extensions, and rack-mounted networking equipment.
• Diagnose technical problems and implement solutions, including running new cable and installing data circuits.
• Follow Ledcor's safety standards and proper use of vehicles, tools, and equipment.
