Job summary

CBX Solutions is hiring a Field Technician to install wireless access points, electrified door hardware, access control panels, CCTV cameras, NVRs, and structured cabling in new construction and retrofit environments. You will work with a project team to ensure proper cable pathways, testing, labeling, and documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and certifications in VMS and structured cabling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Certifications in at least one VMS system.
• Certifications in at least one structured cabling system.

Responsibilities

• Install structured cabling systems (copper, fiber, low-voltage).
• Install network switches, wireless access points and other IP devices.
• Install various CCTV; analog and IP cameras.
• Install various NVRs and VMS platforms.
• Install cable pathway systems.
• Terminate, test, and document cables.
