Job summary

CBX Solutions in Texas seeks a Field Technician to install wireless access points, electrified door hardware, IP cameras, NVRs, and structured cabling in both new construction and retrofit environments. The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and certifications in VMS and cabling systems.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid driver’s license and pass background/drug screen.
Certifications in at least one VMS system.
Certifications in at least one structured cabling system.
Experience as an Installer or equivalent position.

Responsibilities

Install structured cabling systems (copper, fiber, low-voltage).
Install network switches, wireless access points and IP devices.
Install CCTV; analog and IP cameras.
Install NVRs and VMS platforms.
Document cables and learn from Lead technicians.
Work in a team with project manager and field technicians.
Participate in project commissioning and testing.
