Job summary

CBX Solutions in Simpsonville, SC is seeking a Field Technician to install and service wireless access points, access control, CCTV, NVRs, and related wiring in new builds and retrofit projects. You will work with a lead technician and project team, learn best practices, and contribute to project commissioning while maintaining documentation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least one year of Installer experience or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Certification in at least one VMS system.
• Certification in at least one structured cabling system.
• Successfully pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Install structured cabling systems (copper, fiber, low-voltage).
• Install network switches, wireless APs and other IP devices.
• Install CCTV; analog and IP cameras; set up NVRs and VMS platforms.
• Install cable pathways and terminate/test horizontal/backbone cables.
• Collaborate with project manager and lead technicians; document work.
