Water Otter Job Board is seeking a Field Technician to ensure that essential water treatment systems remain well-maintained and fully operational through hands-on electrical, plumbing, and troubleshooting work. The role involves site visits for inspections, calibration of controllers, pump maintenance, safety compliance, and on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• “Strong technical troubleshooting skills and experience with water treatment systems.”
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and engage in physical activities such as sitting, standing, kneeling, and walking for extended periods.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and adhere to age requirements (at least 21 years of age).
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential electrical and plumbing tasks to ensure system functionality.
• Conduct regular system maintenance and timely repairs for reliability.
• Read, install, and calibrate logic controllers.
• Conduct site visits for inspections and troubleshooting, resolving issues with precision.
• Assist in building and installation of dosing controllers and tanks.
• Maintain compliance with company and industry safety and regulatory standards.
• Participate in on-call duty as needed.
• Optimize dosing controls using atmospheric and liquid sampling.
• Perform pump maintenance to ensure system efficiency.
• Additional tasks and projects as assigned.
